A treasure chest of jewelry.
I adore escaping and going on holiday as much as the next person, but what do you do with yourself when you come home and hit the reality of the same old routine? I’m your fashion informative; I’m going to tell you to wear pretty things to cheer yourself up. It’s as simple as that, and I promise it will work wonders.
However, it really doesn’t have to be expensive. I’m talking pretty jewelry rather than a whole outfit that will probably break the bank a little more than you need it to.
Recently on Twitter I asked my followers if they knew of any inexpensive jewelry sites – I was feeling a bit under the weather but also knew I couldn’t really afford Alexander McQueen just to put a smile on my face (although, if anyone really loves me, my smile is definitely worth a McQueen ring, or two).
Anyway, someone came back to me with a site called Kukee and I instantly fell in love. Everything is so bang on trend but has something to suit everyone’s style – so don’t expect it to be another jewelry site that just narrows in on something like that still trending upside down cross craze…
It almost definitely fulfills your need for something colourful and shiny to distract you from the fact that you’re not on holiday having the time of your life. And it’s cheap.
With free postage and packaging on all orders over £40, and an adorable little knuckle ring freebie for all orders of £10, I really don’t think I need to say much more!
But, I can’t exactly preach about how amazing it is without purchasing something can I? So of course I had to buy something to show you all… For the purposes of writing this article, and writing this article only.
It’s gold and shiny, has the most gorgeous bright turquoise stone, and makes for a perfect statement ring to enable you to admire your beautiful hand and forget all about how much you wish you were somewhere a lot more lovely than the freezer isle of Tesco.
I’m going to be putting another order in soon, so keep your eyes peels on Instagram for my pictures of admiration and ear/hand/neck/wrist vanity.
I’d love to know what your favourite pieces are, and if you love their jewelry as much as I do! It’d also be lovely to know if you know of any similar sites; I think it’s so important that little gems like Kukee get more publicity because people are really missing out on them.
