Places to remember when planning your trip to Africa

Africa is the oldest continent if history is anything to go by, it is the continent where the first man lived. Due to its place in history books, Africa ranks as one of the world’s most attractive destinations. It’s not only the jungles and the continent’s history that lures visitors, Africa has also taken huge strides when it comes to architectural brilliance as some of the world’s best resorts are found here. When talking about the great resorts, it’s not just the hotels that spring to mind but also casino resorts and the likes. This means a visit to Africa will expose you to the roars of the lion, the trumpets of the African elephants, the architectural brilliance of past constructors and the glamour of the land-based casinos. It’s a time to rest from gambling at casino.netbet.ie and other online casinos and experiencing how it feels to be inside a land-based casino.

State of the art resorts (South Africa)

South Africa is Africa’s pride when it comes to holiday resorts. Thanks in part to the 2010 World Cup which was hosted by South Africa, the country is now home to state of the art holiday facilities. Any traveller who loves the comfort of a hotel with great facilities will find South Africa irresistible. South Africa is home to Sun City, one of the world’s revered holiday resorts where travellers can hike or hire a car to view wildlife in the nearby reserve. Sun City also has a great casino resort for gamblers. Other top casino resorts in the country include Montecasino, Emperor’s Palace Kempton, Gold Reef City, Silverstar Casino, and Greyville Racecourse.

Architectural brilliance of yesteryear generations (Zimbabwe)

North of South Africa is Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has great tourist destinations including the majestic Victoria Falls which is also one of the world’s natural seven wonders. However, apart from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe also has the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. The Great Zimbabwe Ruins are believed to have been built in the 15th Century. They were built with stone only and no mortar but they still stand strong to this day. The ruins built as a village for the local inhabitants is on top of a mountain. At the foot of the mountain is the Great Enclosure. The Great Enclosure is where the King and his wife lived.

Land of the Pharaohs (Egypt)

A trip to Africa would be incomplete without a visit to the land of the Pharaohs in Egypt. Egypt has all of the world’s history. It is in Egypt where writing started via the hieroglyphics. It is also the country where one finds the pyramids, some of the world’s oldest structures which are still standing strong to this day. Some of these have been in existence since 2560 BC. The Great Pyramid of Giza teaches one history than a hundred lectures. The same is true when it comes to the Egyptian Museum which houses some historic artefacts that were in use several centuries ago.
